HOW TO REMOVE A MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR FROM A CHEVY SILVERADO

Hey guys, what's going on? This is Brian from the YouTube channel Classic G-Body Garage and today I'm doing a DIY and drive tutorial for Pull-A-Part Used Auto Parts. Let's get started.

All right, so today I'm going to go ahead and remove this mass airflow sensor on this Chevy Silverado. This one is actually very easy to go ahead and pull off. It's sitting here right up on top on the airbox and it's only held on with a matter of a couple of screws on these clamps right here. You'll find a screw right here on the front, and then another clamp here on the back. So let me go ahead and get these two loosened up and I can pull this air hose out of the way. And all I'm doing or the only tool I'm using for this job is a flat head screwdriver and most air box clamps use a flat head screwdriver just to go ahead and get those removed, and then you also have a plug right here on the top. So go ahead and pinch the tab that holds the plug on the top and remove it. Let's see if I can get this pull off of here.

Here's one and the other one is going to be a little bit more difficult. All right, well, there you go. It's just that easy to go ahead and remove the mass airflow sensor on this Chevy Silverado. All right, we've got the mass airflow sensor taken off. All it took was a flat head screwdriver and loosening up a couple of clamps.

Very simple, so investing a little bit of time, pulling your own part is going to save you a lot of money while keeping your vehicle on the road. This is Brian with Classic G-Body Garage and thanks for watching.
